Prain Global is in charge of the digital PR of the Macao Government Tourism Office, which features countless attractions such as gourmet food, tourism, or hocance since 2024.
Prain Global aims to deliver useful information and encourages to save it regarding highly competitive travel industry, dominated by major travel platforms, airlines as well as travel influencers.
To engage with consumers, we adopted the concept of “Local Guide" under the name of "Omundong" which is Chinese name for Macao.
Aligned with the trends on our main channel, which is Instagram, we actively produced curated content and engaging reels, resulting in a 534% increase in saves and a 217% increase in shares compared to 2023. Additionally, through collaboration with celebrities, travel influencers, and others, we positioned Macao as a travel destination offering unique and diverse experiences, going far beyond traditional tourist attractions.
Furthermore, in May 2024, we opened a pop-up store with a recreated street of Macao to instill a positive perception of the place. This initiative attracted 5,490 visitors and resulted in approximately 2,000 pieces of user-generated content uploaded on social media.
In the future, we will also continue to conduct digital PR campaigns to ensure that our channel becomes an essential guide for travelers to Macao, spreading infinite charm of this place and stirring a desire to visit it.
